What audio visual equipment is available?
We have our own multi media projector, microphones and sound system which can be hired at additional cost.

If you require more complex AV equipment it can be hired in from one of two partners that we have arrangements with and who know the facility well.

Spectrum Presentation Theatre can provide whiteboards and flipcharts.

Do I need to use microphones?
It depends on the number of people attending and the vocal strength of the presenters. For up to 50-60 people most presenters do not need a microphone. If it is likely that the theatre will be full (148 max) then it would be wise to have a microphone and PA system. These can be hired from our AV partners.

Is there a screen in the theatre?
There is a large 5.0m by 2.2m fixed screen

Can you provide tea and coffee?
Yes, we can provide tea and coffee (disposable cups) at a cost of $3+GST per head.

Do you provide catering?
Spectrum Presentation Theatre can provide morning and afternoon tea (tea, coffee, orange juice and sweet slice or muffins). For larger catering requirments there are a number of local caterers we can recommend who are used regularly by our clients.

Can I arrange my own catering?
Yes, you are welcome to make your own catering arrangements. There is a $50 surcharge charge for use of tablecoths and rubbish disposal.

Can we come in earlier to set up our equipment?
We allow an extra half hour prior to your booking time to allow your setup. Earlier access can be arranged by negotiation and will depend on availability.

How much does it cost to hire the theatre?
Up to 4 hours:    $165 per hour
5 to 8 hours:      $148.50 per hour
Over 8 hours:    full day rate of $1200
